Dr Abdaljawad Omar is a Palestinian scholar and writer who lectures in the Philosophy and Cultural Studies Department at Birzeit University. Dr Omar holds a PhD in interdisciplinary social sciences with scholarly work centred on Palestinian resistance, settler colonialism, and revolutionary politics. He writes for Mondoweiss and his recent publications include ‘The Grammar of Resistance: Rethinking Palestine Beyond Pity and Fear’ in Monthly Review, ‘Shock without Awe: Zionism and its Horror’ in Radical Philosophy, and ‘Bleeding Forms: Beyond the Intifada’ in Critical Times.
